The Albany team seeks to boast a sustainable, accessible ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation for the diverse population of Southwest Georgia, closing the funding gap for rural and minority owners, reducing the failure rate of new startups and creating an economy that grows with every new business. It will develop a sustainable community action plan that addresses ecosystem entry, skills development and network reliability for early-stage entrepreneurs and innovators. This plan will serve as a foundation for the establishment of an effective entrepreneurial support center within the downtown sector, which will include resources, classrooms and spaces for broader ecosystem activities.
