BYOP: Strengthening Community Engagement through Strategic Outreach (Sandy Springs, GA)

This Build Your Own Project (BYOP) was designed by a PIN alumna, in collaboration with the project leader, to scale the impact of LaAmistad Inc. through a comprehensive FY27 outreach strategy and programming calendar. The intern will bridge the gap between administrative policy and hands-on community work, researching regional best practices to boost enrollment and strengthen volunteer recruitment for mission-critical pilot programs.

Through direct collaboration with leadership, the team will produce a strategic growth proposal and support grant-writing efforts to secure long-term funding. This role offers a unique immersion into the intersection of public policy and non-profit management, providing practical experience in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and the operational mechanics of community-based advocacy.
