Park Pride Community Services
Park Pride is an Atlanta-based nonprofit founded in 1989 with a mission to engage communities to activate the power of parks. In partnership with the PIN Fellowship CleanTech vertical, Park Pride will employ a fellow to support the Friends of the Park and Volunteer Programs. While gaining familiarity with and playing a role in Park Pride’s day-to-day service model and programming, the fellow will conduct a social sustainability assessment of the Friends of the Park program and identify areas and resources for improvement.
Fellow responsibilities will include:
Program Administration
- Support the Community Services team in utilizing a new Salesforce database to track relevant metrics and activities
- Produce new or updated program materials for existing and prospective Friends of the Park audiences
- Assist with community learning & networking events, volunteer workdays, and organization-wide events as needed
Program Evaluation
- Research socially sustainable practices in community partnership building and community development
- Summarize findings in a final report that includes a proposed socially sustainable partnership model for the Friends of the Park program
- Provide recommendations for more socially sustainable internal and external collaboration
- Contribute perspectives to Park Pride’s organization-wide measurement & evaluation improvement process
