Park and Greenspace Focused Community Engagement Across the City of Atlanta and Unincorporated Dekalb County (Atlanta, GA)

Interns will work on park visioning during the closing stages of work with Red’s Farm Preserve in Atlanta. The project involves a report summarizing the visioning process and a survey assessing program effectiveness. These efforts ensure community voices are represented in the park design process.

The visioning report documents community priorities for their park, providing written goals for long-term implementation. Interns will gain skills in community engagement and survey assessment while helping ensure that greenspace development meets community needs.
