Native Plant & Wellness Initiative (Atlanta, GA)

This initiative focuses on revitalizing Downtown Atlanta through a green corridor of native plant gardens that promote biodiversity and wellness. Interns will grow the Community Steward Program, ensuring gardens are maintained while community members benefit from nature. Each garden serves as a sanctuary for gathering and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities include hosting volunteer training days, leading community events, and measuring the gardens’ impact metrics. Interns will also manage social media and newsletters to share initiative achievements. This role involves care for area gardens in community with other stewards to prepare sites for major events like the World Cup.
