Putting Wheels on Wellness
Kids’-Doc-On-Wheels (KDOW) is an innovative children’s healthcare program delivering comprehensive medical and behavioral health beyond the four walls of a traditional medical office environment. Lead by Dr. Lynette Wilson-Phillips, MD, the project will serve children ages 0 to 18 in public and private schools, early learning and daycare programs, and local Community Based Organizations across Georgia. Kids’ Doc on Wheels’ iCare School-based Telemedicine Clinic creates an integrated health care system for the community that includes the services of the community clinicians, children’s hospital and community medical school programs by introducing and maintaining health in the child’s learning environment from the pre-school thru high school years.
