Innovation in Monitoring and Evaluation for Public Health Reporting (Atlanta, GA)

This project supports the CDC Foundation’s Workforce Acceleration Initiative by automating monitoring systems and analyzing public health data. Interns will use R and Smartsheet to design automated data collection systems that minimize staff burden. The goal is to provide real-time data to leadership and measure improvements in information system maturity.

Responsibilities include creating data visualizations and statistical summaries for funder reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts. Interns will gain hands-on experience in data automation, applied analytics, and program evaluation. This internship bridges data science with real-world public health practice.
