Digital Twin and IoT in Advanced Manufacturing (Statesboro, GA)

At Georgia Southern University, interns will integrate robotics, IoT sensors, and data analytics to create a “digital twin” framework for manufacturing. Using platforms like the Spot robot, interns will develop AI models for defect prediction, process optimization, and predictive maintenance.

Interns will gain skills in digital twin modeling, signal processing, and machine learning using Python or MATLAB. This project supports Industry 4.0 practices, aiming to improve efficiency in sectors like aerospace and biomedical engineering.
