911 Mental Health Crisis Detection and Triage AI Support for Co-Responders (Kennesaw, GA)
Building on a successful alpha version, this project focuses on refining an AI tool that detects behavioral health crises within 911 incident reports. Interns will collaborate with police co-responders to conduct user testing, gather feedback, and document findings to improve the software’s usability and cybersecurity compliance.
The primary objective is to complete the initial beta version of the software and prepare it for real-world embedding into emergency practices. Interns will gain experience in Python programming, professional stakeholder engagement, and navigating the technical and regulatory constraints of public safety systems.
